~~ LIKE A TREE ~~
ROOTED AND GROWING IN GOD’S LOVE
I love words. I love dissecting them, discovering their meaning, playing with them – just getting to know them. I tried this challenge last year but was unable to complete because of me. No reasons or excuses…I just didn’t. I am determined to finish this year and finish well.
I started a search of the word ‘tree’ and ended up with a book full of ideas to relate that to our walk with Jesus. Trees are straight, bent, tall, short, thin and fat. They all have some type of ‘fruit’. Some can withstand drought while others would die. Some bend with the wind in a storm yet others become broken and uprooted. Some have roots that go down deep into the earth while others roots are shallow. Sounds quite like the human race.
I hope you enjoy the journey. I hope I can impart some speck of knowledge or at the very least different perspectives that will make you think about your relationship with Jesus. That’s how I grow…in life, as a follower of my Jesus, as a woman, a wife, a mother, and a daughter. I know at the end of these 31 days, I will have grown a lot – like a tree.
- Day 1 – Planted
- Day 2 – Choosing the Path
- Day 3 – Sown on a Rocky Road
- Day 4 – A Sticky Problem
- Day 5 – The Good Earth
- Day 6 – Out of the Fire
- Day 7 – Missed
- Day 8 – Missed
- Day 9 – Missed
- Day 10 – Missed
- Day 11 – Grow Like Him
Despite my best efforts I have been unable to complete this 31 Day Challenge. I plan to try this again next year.
Hope you enjoy the posts I did create above. Thanks for your interest!!! ☺
